Dental caries therapy

The dental caries is an injury that destroys the hard tissues of the teeth. Within the early phases it can only be observed by the dentist, the more the caries is seen within the early phase, the less damage it brings to the tooth, treatment is simpler and less costly.

If, at the beginning, the caries appears like a colored dot, subsequently a cavity is formed, which untreated, evolves leading to the inflammation of the dental pulp (the nerve), which leads to the necessity of its removal and the obturation of the radicular channels. By treating the caries we understand:

• removal of the damaged dental tissue
• application of remineralizing and insulating substances based on the cavity
• reconstruction of the tooth (cement) with a material that equally ensures resistance, functionality and aesthetics.
